DCTS Students Make a Difference at Hanna’s Pantry

On November 26, 2024, 24 dedicated students from Dauphin County Technical School (DCTS) volunteered their time and energy to support Hanna’s Pantry, a local non-profit committed to serving our community. This collaborative effort between members of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and SkillsUSA showcased the incredible teamwork and dedication of our students.

The volunteer day focused on revitalizing the garden area at Hanna’s Pantry. Students rolled up their sleeves to clean, weed, and beautify the space, ensuring it remains a welcoming environment for those the pantry serves. Their hard work did not go unnoticed—staff at Hanna’s Pantry commended the students for their positive attitudes and tireless efforts.

This event highlights the core values of DCTS: community involvement, leadership, and service. By working together, these students not only represented their school with pride but also made a tangible impact on their local community. Their dedication serves as an inspiration to us all.

Thank you to the students who participated and to Hanna’s Pantry for the opportunity to give back. Events like these remind us of the power of collaboration and the importance of serving others. DCTS is proud of the outstanding example these students have set!
