This past weekend, our DCTS FBLA chapter had the incredible opportunity to attend the State Leadership Workshop at Kalahari Resort. Our students represented Dauphin County Technical School with exceptional professionalism, diving into each session, workshop, and activity with enthusiasm and a commitment to learning.
All In
The theme of the workshop, “All In,” resonated deeply with our students, inspiring them to fully engage with the experience. The keynote speaker’s message about dedication and resilience motivated everyone in attendance, reinforcing the importance of commitment in both personal and professional pursuits.
Workshops
Throughout the weekend, our students participated in a variety of workshops designed to enhance their leadership and career skills. They explored topics ranging from crafting standout resumes and preparing for interviews to leveraging artificial intelligence in a professional setting. These sessions provided valuable insights that our students are excited to bring back to DCTS as they continue to grow as future business professionals.
Goose Chase Scavenger Hunt
One of our students took first place in the “Goose Chase” scavenger hunt, demonstrating impressive teamwork and strategy to earn the top spot and win an Apple Watch! This was a proud moment for our chapter, highlighting the dedication and drive our students brought to every part of the workshop.
Summary
