DCTS FBLA Shines at Nationals in California

From June 27 through July 3, members of Dauphin County Technical School’s FBLA chapter traveled to Anaheim, California to compete in the 2025 FBLA National Leadership Conference. With over 11,000 student attendees from across the country, Pennsylvania was proudly represented by nearly 800 students and advisors, including our own.

Da’Shawn made his debut on the national stage as a Pennsylvania State Officer, representing both our chapter and state with professionalism and pride.

Several DCTS students competed in national-level events:

  • Evie, Jesse, and Austin participated in Network Design.
  • Krish and Umesh competed in Graphic Design. They advanced to the final round and finished in the top 16 in the country. They were also the only team from Pennsylvania to make it that far in this event.
  • Rosbin represented DCTS in Cybersecurity. His event was announced 96th out of 100 during the awards ceremony, creating a long and suspenseful wait. The excitement in the room grew as each name was called and his had not yet been heard. Finally, the moment arrived. Rosbin placed 1st in the nation and received a trophy along with a $500 cash prize.

Outside of competition, students had the chance to explore Southern California. We spent a full day in San Diego, visiting the famous San Diego Zoo, enjoying hop-on hop-off stops along the trolley route, and ending the day in historic Old Town before returning to the hotel. A few students also had the opportunity to visit Disneyland during the trip. One evening, the group had a blast at Nickel Nickel, a classic nickel arcade filled with games, prizes, and nostalgic fun.

To celebrate the week, our chapter went out together to The Cheesecake Factory, where we enjoyed a great dinner and wrapped things up with a variety of cheesecake flavors for dessert.

Thank you to everyone who supported our students this year. We are incredibly proud of what they accomplished and grateful to all the teachers, staff, parents, and sponsors who helped them along the way.
