Last month, students from Dauphin County Technical School traveled to Orlando, Florida, for the 2024 FBLA National Leadership Conference. They competed against students from all over the country, and we are proud of everything they accomplished.
FBLA Competition Highlights
- Prakash, Layla, and Daniel competed in the Web Design competition and earned an impressive 10th place in the nation! Their hard work and dedication really paid off.
- Austin participated in the Network Design competition. While he didn’t place, we are proud of his effort and determination to compete at the national level.
Extracurricular Adventures
Along with competing, the students had a great time exploring Orlando and enjoying some fun activities. Here’s what they did during the trip:
- FBLA Night at Universal Studios, where they experienced the rides and attractions with other FBLA members from across the country.
- A relaxing day at the beach, soaking up the sun and enjoying the ocean.
- A visit to Top Golf, where the students had fun swinging and competing.
- Swimming in the natural springs at Wekiwa Springs State Park, a refreshing way to cool off from the Florida heat.
- Trying out disc golfing, adding a new activity to their list of adventures.
- Hanging out by the hotel pool and relaxing after busy days.
- Eating at one of Orlando’s top-rated restaurants, enjoying Cuban sandwiches and key lime pie.
Looking Back on the Trip
The 2024 FBLA National Leadership Conference was not only a great competition but also a fun experience for everyone involved. Our students represented Dauphin County Technical School well, both in the competition and during their time exploring Orlando. We’re proud of what they achieved and look forward to what’s next for our FBLA students!
